Yoga Teacher Training
Yoga Sivananda

It’s a residential and intensive course.
It lasts 4 weeks and is internationally recognized.

The Sivananda Yoga Teacher Training Course (TTC) is a four week intensive residential course with certification.

It was taught for the first time in Canada in 1969 and since then more that 30,000 yoga teachers worldwide have been trained in the tradition of classical yoga for mental peace and radiant health.

The Yoga Teachers’ Training Course is part of his vision of universal peace: The more people experience peace within, the more this peace will manifest in outward action.

The goal of this programme is to train inspiring and qualified yoga teachers who are able to draw on their own practice and self-discipline in imparting the yoga experience to others.

The course is inspired to India’s traditional Gurukula teaching system in which students and teachers live together in an ashram (centre for yoga and meditation). Through the direct contact with experienced teachers, the student’s day-to-day life during the course is transformed into a learning experience. Students advance both physically and mentally and enjoy a comprehensive yoga experience, which they can later transmit to their own students.

The course is also certified with Yoga Alliance.
