What is Shiatsu?<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Shiatsu is an energy treatment.<\/div>\n
It is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and balances the recipient’s energy system.<\/div>\n
It helps Qi flow in a fluid form.<\/div>\n
Qi is the subtle energy that flows through energy channels (meridians).<\/div>\n
When this energy is blocked, unpleasant physical, mental and\/or psychic symptoms can occur.<\/div>\n
Qi has the ability to heal itself and rebalance itself and the practitioner accompanies the recipient in the rebalancing process.<\/div>\n
Shiatsu is done through contact by the operator with the recipient and is performed through pressure.<\/div>\n

Shiatsu I.R.T.E. method is not invasive, it has a progressive methodology built on the Person, making him\/her a conscious and active part in the search for a better condition of Wellbeing and Health. It is suitable for people of all ages and different abilities.<\/div>\n
The I.R.T.E. Shiatsu School was founded by Dr. Fabio Zagato in Milan in 1979. Since then, I.R.T.E. has been training Shiatsu Operators, using effective teaching techniques that have evolved over time, the result of a profound and tested knowledge of the subject matter.<\/div>\n

It is one of the first associations founded in the West to develop and disseminate the study of body-mediated techniques of Eastern and Western derivation.<\/div>\n

Monica graduated as a Shiatsu practitioner in June 2023 after three years of training.<\/div>\n
