INTRODUCTION TO DARŚANA

An introductory journey into the philosophical schools of pre-modern India. Etymologies, classifications, contexts and texts to orient oneself in the great currents of Indian thought, starting with yoga.

Each conference will be preceded by a yoga lesson in a different style, to explore the richness of the traditions we offer at Yoga in Centro.

Diego Manzi is a writer and lecturer in Sanskrit and the religions and philosophies of India. Since 2018 he has been collaborating with GrecoLatinoVivo in the search for solutions for the teaching of Sanskrit in the wake of recent research in the field of Neuroscience, and since October 2019 he has been invested with the position of Scientific Director of the Department of Sanskrit and Philosophies of India Vidyālaya of CSNC GrecoLatinoVivo.
